Tinkd Makerspace is proud to host another Repair Cafe Tauranga! We have jumped on board the global movement to repair and recycle and minimise waste with the now well established Repair Café in Tauranga’s CBD.
If you’re interested and want to know more about how you could contribute and what you can fix please come to Tinkd Makerspace, 148 Durham Street, Tauranga.
Repair Cafés are free meeting places where members of the community with broken household items and volunteer repair specialists come together to repair and learn.
Are you a repairer? Come along and chat with team to find out how you can be involved.
Do you have something that needs repairing? Bring ONE item with you and our team of volunteer repairs will assess, advise, and attempt a repair on the day.
This is a 100% volunteer-driven initiative. More details about what will be able to be repaired to follow (as we confirm our repairers and their areas of expertise). Please register your item before the event so that we can try to match you to a suitable repairer.
